Winchester Systems, Inc. has a rich history of delivering storage and server solutions to commercial, military and integrator, VAR and OEM customers.

Since its founding in 1981, when Winchester Systems introduced its first 5 MB disk system, until today when a single one of our flagship FlashDisk RAID disk arrays, now in its 10 th generation, can reach 426 TB, our philosophy is the same:

Deliver the best value by keeping the solution simple, high performance and economical.

While our disk arrays now offer nearly 100 million times the storage of our initial system, performance has grown in a similar way. Since the company introduced it earliest RAID array about 20 years ago, the performance increased from 50 IOPS to about 160,000 IOPS today. While not as impressive as the increase in capacity, this is still a 3,200 times increase in performance – rather startling for an electromechanical device, nonetheless.
