SteelEye and Winchester Systems also announced the two companies have entered into a reseller agreement for SteelEye's LifeKeeper Next Generation Enterprise Reliability™ platform. The agreement enables Winchester Systems to provide SteelEye's LifeKeeper high-availability clustering and mirroring products as part of Winchester Systems' FlashDisk enterprise storage solutions for Intel-based servers running Windows NT and Linux operating platforms. SteelEye's LifeKeeper for NT and Linux is an enterprise-grade reliability clustering solution that ensures continuous availability of critical business applications, servers, and data. LifeKeeper for NT and Linux offers unprecedented configuration flexibility through support for 16 or more clustered servers, SCSI storage, and Fibre Channel-based Storage Area Networks (SANs) that are used with a variety of volume managers and file systems across JFS, NFS and database environments.
