With multiple generations released, FlashDisk continues to provide an
ultra-high performance network attached storage solution to speed up any
application. But speed is only the beginning. In an effort to make
FlashDisk unbeatably fast, we also made it incredibly uncomplicated. The
plug-and play architecture of FlashDisk make it fast to deploy and easy to
maintain using fewer resources within any enterprise storage environment.
High Performance and High Capacity
Based on the latest in standard interfaces and disk drive technology,
FlashDisk delivers extraordinary performance. This superior performance
makes FlashDisk perfect for a broad spectrum of applications including
database, OLTP, manufacturing, financial, multimedia, imaging, web server,
prepress, and other disk intensive tasks.
Without compromising performance, FlashDisk OpenRAID can be easily
scaled to multiple terabytes with expansion shelves, to meet your growing
business needs. And drives or expansion shelves can be added online
without disrupting users.
Virtual “SAN-In-A-Box” Functionality
FlashDisk network attached storage solution is multi-hostable from two
to twelve servers with up to six servers sharing one storage pool. With
various models and configurations available within the FlashDisk OpenRAID
family of products, you get simple, affordable SAN capabilities. Available
in U160 and 2 Gb Fibre Channel configurations in the same array, FlashDisk
becomes the easiest to use “SAN” on the market today with point-to-point
connectivity. Run large databases on a server connected via Fibre Channel
and access other business applications on a second server connected via
SCSI—simultaneously! This flexibility allows you to migrate from a DAS to
a SAN or NAS environment with ease. FlashDisk OpenSAN’s modular design
allows you to scale server connectivity or storage capacity affordably.
Adding more drives for SCSI-based storage capacity or additional host
channels for multiple server connectivity provides for a cost-effective
system based on your current needs, while providing for the future growth
of your SCSI-based storage environment.
Compatibility
FlashDisk OpenRAID supports any operating system and all servers without
host software. It is compatible with most industry-standard software
packages designed for clustering, disaster recovery, remote mirroring and
disk-to-disk backup solutions.
The Highest Storage Density Drive Configurations
All data storage solutions from Winchester Systems include the latest in
drive technology with the highest density and fastest “time-to-data”
access capability available. All drives are removable and hot-swappable
and it takes only a few minutes to replace a problem drive.
Storage Management & “Call Home” Service
All FlashDisk SCSI-based storage products are centrally managed with our
FlashConsole management appliance providing remote access and real-time
e-mail notification to reduce downtime and increase data availability.
Included with FlashConsole is FlashAlert, our “call home” service
providing 24-hour support by our call center. FlashConsole continuously
monitors your data when you are not around, is totally secure, and takes
less than one hour to install and configure.
Service and Support
FlashDisk OpenRAID high performance RAID products are shipped with next
day on-site service for one year with a toll-free hotline. Additional
service plans are available to support any high availability requirement.
