HyperSAN provides primary enterprise storage solutions designed to meet
the most demanding applications including database, OLTP, finance,
manufacturing, multimedia, data acquisition, web servers, large scale
e-mail servers and other disk intensive tasks.
High Performance Fibre Channel Storage by Design
FlashDisk HyperSAN is well suited for the most demanding workloads and
starts with the highest performance Seagate Cheetah 10K and 15K rpm disk
drives. HyperSAN features dual redundant, high performance RAID
controllers with high performance ASICs to speed parity calculations. It
mirrors controller cache with multiple, high speed parallel channels for
the ultimate in high performance and high reliability. This combination is
up to five times faster than other RAID products
without hardware assisted parity and parallel cache mirroring.
Fault Tolerant
Fault tolerant hardware reliability is standard throughout with dual
redundant, hot-swappable components.
Fully Featured
FlashDisk HyperSAN provides full-featured protection in RAID 0, 1 (1+0),
3, 5, 6, 15, 30, 50 and 60. FlashDisk HyperSAN also provides high data
availability with remote and real-time monitoring, automatic drive failure
detection, failed drive rebuild, hot-swap drive capability and online
expansion.
RAID 6 Data Protection Dual Parity
RAID 6 data protection provides dual parity to protect against two drive
failures and to help ensure that critical disk rebuilds after a drive
failure are successful - especially important with today’s large arrays.
RAID 6 data protection dual parity offers 500 to 30,000 times longer MTDL
(Mean Time To Data Loss) than RAID 5.

Storage Capability
FlashDisk HyperSAN also works with FlashNAS, our networked attached
storage appliance, to provide shared access to archived data. FlashNAS
supports heterogeneous file sharing over a Local Area Network and makes
accessing large files from multiple hosts quick and easy.
The Highest Storage Density Drive Configurations
All enterprise storage solutions from Winchester Systems include the
latest in drive technology with the highest density and fastest access
capability available. All drives are removable and hot-swappable and it
takes only a few minutes to replace a problem drive.
Storage Management & “Call Home” Service
Our newest FlashDisk HyperSAN products include an embedded GUI storage
manager with intuitive and easy-to-use storage management tools. All
FlashDisk storage products may be centrally managed with our optional
FlashConsole management appliance providing remote access and real-time
e-mail notification to reduce downtime and increase data availability. Our
FlashAlert “call home” service provides 24-hour support by our call
center. FlashConsole continuously monitors your data when you are not
around, is totally secure, and takes less than one hour to install and
configure.
Enterprise Storage Solutions Service and Support
FlashDisk HyperSAN products are shipped with next day on-site service for
one year with a toll-free hotline. Additional service plans are available
to support any 24x7 high availability requirement.
